Introduction

Hello, I hope you are all doing well! This will be a little different from my average blog post. I wanted to debrief on how my blog was during the school year and a bit about my plans for the summer since there is always room for my blog to get better and stronger. Although there might not be anything neuroscience related in this post, I hope you still find interest in it and take a look at my older posts! I am doing this because I think it's important to look at what I have done and make adjustments, but the reason I am making a post is to receive some feedback on what my audience thinks as well.

Positives

I think this school year I came up with some interesting questions that people could relate to their everyday lives. Additionally, I really enjoyed the simplicity of my blog because I think that teens are able to appreciate it more that way. I was able to create a mini series in my blog that only has one episode as of now but will eventually grow. This series consists of me attempting to stimulate what research is like by creating mini experiments. It's also a good way to test things that I know individuals have speculatulations about.

Negatives

I wish that I was more on time with the schedule of my posts. I attempted to do my best while keeping up with my academics and there is room for improvement in this aspect. I believe I could start writing about more complex topics and making my explanations more deeper rather than surface level. I want to start incorporating images to make my posts less boring and more unique. Lastly, my audience is quite low and I lack feedback from teens.

Conclusions/Summer Goals

My biggest summer goal is to definetely get a bigger audience since it is very low right now and I would love for people to start leaving comments on my blog. I want to enhance my website and make some changes to help it stand out more. Furthermore, I want to change the content of my blogs to be a bit more complex and add visuals of parts of the brain. Lastly, I want to stay consistent with my bi-weekly schedule. I had a great junior year with my blog and I cannot wait for summer and senior year. Remember you are not alone!!
